Trowers & Hamlins: They offer between 15-20 training contracts each year split between a September and March intake respectively.  The training contract is made up of four six-month seats offering you the opportunity to gain real contentious and non-contentious experience within the firm’s various practice areas.  Practice areas include Banking & Finance, Commercial Property, Corporate, Litigation, Employment, Housing Projects, International, Projects and Construction, Public Sector and Tax, Trusts & pensions. Upon joining the firm, your first seat will be allocated for you. They recruit trainee solicitors for the London, Manchester and Exeter offices.  London is the largest office. Manchester recruits 4 trainees and Exeter one. Every six months they send seven trainees to the Middle Eastern offices – Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai and Oman.
