Work experience

Renishaw offers approximately 40 one-week work experience opportunities for year 10 and year 12 students. Preference is given to those students who are studying Maths and Science and who have an interest in Engineering.

Successful student applicants will work as a team to research and develop a new product, with each being given a specific role in the following areas of engineering:

• Design
• Production
• Manufacturing
• Purchasing
• Project Management
• Product Marketing

Summer Placements

These placements are mainly aimed at students studying relevant AS-Levels or A-Levels. The placement durations are typically between 8 and 12 weeks and give students a valuable opportunity to develop practical skills, which will prove invaluable throughout any engineering career.
