They recruit a number ofTraineesacross their offices onto threeapprenticeshipprogrammesin thefollowing departments;
Business tax– you will be providing bespoke taxation services to clients and dealing with queries from compliance through to high-level advisory work. You’ll assist in the preparation of tax returns and computations, support with tax planning/consultancy work, and deal with HMRC, clients and third parties.Within this department you would study the CFAB.
Corporate audit, in this department you’ll need an analytical mind as you join a pool of trainees who provide audit and accounting services to managers and partners. You will work with a broad range of clients covering a variety of sectors from financial services to technology companies and sports clubs.Within this department you will study the CFAB.
Outsourcing, provides clients with the full range of accounting and back office services, including bookkeeping, accounts preparation, management accounting, VAT compliance, forecasting and budgeting and any other ad hoc advice and assistance on accounting matters.Within this department you will study the AAT.
Private client tax– you will be supporting Private Client Services and Business Tax by dealing with compliance for a variety of clients. The PCTdepartment aim to be viewed as a leading provider of ‘one-stop-shop’ private client services.Within this department you will study the ATT.
You will study towards one of three level 4 apprenticeship schemes:
- AAT -you to gain a recognised qualification with the Association of Accounting Technicians
- ATT -gives youthe opportunity to gain a recognised qualification with the Associationof TaxationTechnicians, and start your career in tax.
- CFAB -Joining thelevel 4 Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business(CFAB)apprenticeship will allow you to gain a recognised qualification with theInstitute of Chartered Accountants in Englandand Wales (ICAEW),and build your experience in the profession.
