Lloyds (Insurance): Lloyds is an insurance market rather than a company. They offer an 8 week internship from mid-June to mid-August.

You’ll be a key member of your team and have a great opportunity to see how Lloyd’s works in action. What you actually do on your placement will vary depending upon the area you join. In Underwriting Performance, for example, you could be working closely with companies in the market to evaluate their business plans. In Communications, you might be supporting the web team on the website and Lloyd’s Twitter and Facebook pages.

Elsewhere, you might be exploring trends in insurance claims, or even developing a product such as ‚ÄòRegional Watch’ – a regularly published piece of research that gathers data for a number of countries across the globe.
