Leathes Prior: They aim to compile training programmes to meet the wishes of individual trainees. Four six-month seats in different teams is the normal pattern, but you may spend more time in one team than another. You will work directly with the firm’s partners and will gain excellent hands-on experience of contentious and non-contentious work. You will be expected to see clients and run their own caseload when you are sufficiently experienced. Occasionally, and where it is of mutual benefit, they may arrange for you to undertake a secondment. In recent times, Leathes Prior trainees have been seconded to Norwich City Football Club, Ipswich Town Football Club and Hull City Football Club.
