Kirkland & Ellis International: They take c10 trainees each year into their London office. There may be opportunities to take up seats in their overseas offices (eg New York and Hong Kong) and gain experience of operating with colleagues in different jurisdictions. For the two years of your training contract, you will rotate between four six-month placements. In addition to a compulsory corporate law seat, you will undertake three further seats, choosing from: Litigation/Arbitration, Restructuring, Debt Finance, Funds, Intellectual Property, Antitrust and Competition and Tax.
