• Aspiring Professional programme– 2 weeks in London for first year A level students from low income backgrounds

TheWork Experience in Bournemouthis a chance for you to meet many of the employees at J.P. Morgan in Bournemouth and find out what it’s like to work at a global investment bank. You will take part in seminars, interactive presentations, case studies and group exercises. Be inspired by their people and start to form invaluable networks for your future career.Bournemouth is acentre for technology and operational processing with global reach, supporting activity in more than 90 markets across more than 40 countries. They take 40 students per week – students currently studying towards your GCSE or A-Levels are eligible to apply -you do not need to be studying maths A Level to apply.When you apply youll be able to select whether you want to go for a 1 or 2 week placement. If you select 2 weeks then you will spend a week in 2 different departments.

The Aspiring Professional Programmeis based in London andis a year-long suport programme for high-achieving sixth-form students from low-income backgrounds across the UK with an interest in pursuing a career in banking/finance. The programme consists of skills development and university awareness workshops; mentoring and a two week work placement in one of the many lines of business in London.The programme is open to first year A-level students who meet thecriteria set by the Social Mobility Foundation.
