Specifically within PowerVR, Meta, Ensigma, IMGWorks, Business Development, operations and PURE. PowerVR software specializations include OpenGL, DirectX, Android and Windows graphics drivers and compiler design. The Meta hardware team work on a range of embedded processors with the latest EDA design tools. The core software and architecture group develop tools to support the use and design of embedded single/multiple core processing architectures. The Ensigma hardware team work on the next generation of communications IP cores with the latest EDA design tools. The software group (in Chepstow) develop and simulate algorithms, implement software in C and micro-code. The IMGworks software team develop drivers and low-level APIs for a wide range of peripherals. PURE software roles include embedded software development for consumer electronics using C++, object oriented design and an understanding of hardware, and web application development for connected audio device platforms.
