GCHQ. Joining GCHQ at graduate entry level is not like being on a typical ‘general’ graduate scheme. Primarily offering ‘direct entry’ routes for graduates, some of the roles require a specific or specialist degree, whilst others are wide open. Specialist degree options include; Cyber security, Information Assurance, IT, Internet & Engineering, Information & Communications Technology Research, Telecommunications Engineering, Maths, Information Specialists (Librarians) and Language & Culture Specialists. Non-degree specific roles include Leadership Development Scheme, and Corporate Support. They also run a graduate leadership development scheme – for students with any degree discipline. You will gain experience and knowledge of the work through a series of 6-12 month business placements.
