Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer: You have the option of doing eight seats: Antitrust, Competition and Trade (ACT), Corporate, Dispute Resolution, Employment, Pensions and Benefits (EPB), Finance, Intellectual Property/Information Technology (IP/IT), Real Estate, Tax. You will experience at least three different practice areas, but unlike other firms, Freshfields offers you the option of doing up to eight seats. The corporate, finance and dispute resolution practices are the core of the firm, so they recommend that you spend at least three months in both of these practice areas. Every trainee intake (usually there are 50 trainees on each intake) is also assigned a partner. Freshfields will sponsor you for the GDL and LPC.
