Clyde & Co: During your training contract, you will complete four six-month seats. At Clyde & Co, they recruit for the firm as a whole. This means you will complete one of your seats in the London office and one seat in their Guildford office. You may then choose to complete the remainder of your training contract in London or Guildford, or complete one of many overseas seats (Hong Kong & Middle East) that all trainees are eligible for. In addition, there are also client secondments that become available from time to time. Practice areas include: Aviation & Aerospace, Corporate & Commercial, Dispute Resolution, EC, Competition & Trade Regulation, Employment, Energy, Trade & Commodities, Insurance and Reinsurance, Real Estate, Shipping, Transport & logistics. Once you have been accepted on a training contract, Clyde will provide sponsorship and maintenance for both the GDL and the LPC.
