Clarkson Wright & Jakes: Trainees will generally complete four six-month seats. During each seat, where possible, trainees sit with a partner, associate or senior solicitor. You are involved in client work from the outset and are given as much responsibility as they are comfortable with. Areas of work which might be covered in a training contract include corporate / commercial, employment, property, commercial litigation, personal injury / medical negligence, family and wills and administration of estates.
