Brian Cave Leighton Paisner: Your training contract begins before you start during the LPC+. The course is geared towards BCLP’s specialisations and during the course future trainees have regular contact with the firm and are integrated into it. As a trainee at BCLP, you will receive in-depth department training at the beginning and during each of your 4 seats. You should expect to complete seats in real estate and corporate finance, as well as obtaining contentious experience. A number of trainees choose to undertake a secondment to a client, and an international secondment to either the Brussels or Moscow office is also an option. All trainees are guaranteed at least one first choice seat during their four seats.  In reality almost all trainees given at least two or more first choices. BCLP practice areas include: Commercial, Technology, Media, Telecommunications & Outsourcing, Competition, EU & Trade, Corporate Finance, Dispute Resolution, Finance, Employment, Pensions & Incentives, IP, Real Estate, Regulatory & Compliance, Restructuring & Insolvency and Tax.
