Accenture: They offer a number of programmes in consulting, strategy, analytics, client delivery, software engineering, information security, technology, operations, HR, corporate functions and Teach First. All Consulting graduates follow the Analyst Training Programme, starting with three weeks in London of intensive technical skills training which covers both programming and Accenture consulting methodologies, followed by two or three weeks’ training offshore (in Bangalore or Chicago).
Depending on the nature of the work you’ll be doing, this could be industry, skills or technology focused. The former forms the largest intake and is the largest part of the business. Accenture recruits throughout the year. Within the Analyst Consulting Group (ACG), you will be aligned with either technology or management consulting from the outset.
The decision as to which of these two routes you take will be made during the selection process. The former forms the largest intake and is the largest part of the business. Accenture also offer a Technology Architecture Graduate Programme. You’ll work on projects that develop the most technically complex and cutting-edge solutions, as well as collaborating with delivery teams to ensure solutions are feasible and functional.
This could mean defining technical requirements, developing technical architecture components, taking part in design and code reviews, or reviewing systems performance or test plans.
