McKinsey: You will join as a Business Analyst. In your first two years or more, you’ll work across a broad range of industries and functions. You will likely have the opportunity to travel to different countries. As a new consultant, you can expect between five and eight weeks of training in your first two years. This will come from a mix of firm-wide training and local programmes. Business Consultant Readiness is a week-long course that new consultants at all levels complete when they join Mckinsey. It will help you understand and practice the core skills needed for success on your first client engagement. Business Analyst Training is a further one-week intensive course for business analysts, given at the end of your first year, that focuses on advanced problem solving and interpersonal and communication skills.
