McDonalds: Progressive Young Farmer Scheme. if you are studying agriculture, business studies, maths, science or geography and interested in running your own business, McDonalds offer Farm Forward, a long-term programme to support British and Irish farmers. They run a 12-month training programme to help selected young people kick-start their careers in the industry. Each successful candidate receives mentorship from a progressive farmer and some of the UK’s leading food companies including Arla, McCain, OSI Food Solutions, Tulip and Cargill.
