Defence Science & Technology Laboratory (DSTL): 10-12 weeks in length. DSTL maximise the impact of science and technology for UK defence and security.

They recruit scientists, engineers, analysts, programme and project managers, and finance, logistics, medical and communications personnel.

You will have the opportunity to work on some specific technical projects over the summer break. Summer placements are advertised each Autumn on the civil service job site.
