Bristows: They offer a mixture of 6 month and 3 month seats so you do 5 or 6 seats during your training contract in London. You will have the opportunity to be seconded to one of their  clients for a 3 month period. Trainees at Bristows do seats in the core areas of corporate, real estate, IP litigation and commercial disputes.  Other seats that make up the training contract can include EU and competition, commercial IP/IT, and regulatory. You are guaranteed a seat in IP litigation – this is fairly rare even among firms with a strong IP practice. All of Bristow’s trainees receive sponsorship through the GDL and LPC. Sponsorship includes tuition fees as well as a maintenance grant.
