Dechert (Easter & summer): The two-week vacation schemesare designed to give you an idea of what it will be like to be a trainee solicitor at Dechert: each week you will sit in a different practice group and you are given real work to do by lawyers.

Before you startthe scheme, they ask you to nominate two practice groups in which youhave a particular interest in and then try toplace you in those groups. Youcan spend time in financial restructuring, complex commercial litigation, corporate and securities, employment, financial services, finance, real estate, intellectual property, tax or white collar crime.
