  • ConocoPhillips. (1 year) Mainly interested in geosciences or engineering disciplines.
  • Eaton. A power management company providing energy-efficient solutions that help customers effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power. Eaton has approximately 102,000 employees and sells products to customers in more than 175 countries. It offers a number of internships in engineering & technology, operations, technical sales, HR, finance & accounting, supply chain and IT. 3, 6 or 12 months in length.
  • Eon. (48 weeks) Commercial and engineering placements. 
  • Exxon Mobile. (12 months). Placements available in marketing & commercial, finance, IT, technical, marine operations and community affairs. 
  • Chevron. (6 months for engineering students) Range of internships available 
  • EDF Energy. (6 & 12 months) Placements in a range of areas including nuclear engineering and commercial
  • Infineum. (1 year) for chemical engineering or chemistry students. Opportunities exist in Italy, Us and Singapore.
  • National Grid. (1 year). Sponsorship of your degree if you perform well. A wide range of placements in technical engineering (gas, electricity and network operations)  and commercial disciplines. 
  • npower. (6-12 months). The best way to secure a placement is to take part in their Future Leaders and Energy Challenge competitions as each member of the winning team is guaranteed a summer placement or internship.
  • Schlumberger. (3, 6 & 12 months). Internships available in engineering, research & operations;Geoscience & petrochemical and commercail and business.

  • UK Power Networks. (10-12 months). They are interested in engineering, law, business or IT students.
