American Express (12 months). An industrial placement programme in Finance and Marketing designed for students pursuing a sandwich course in Finance, Accounting, Business Studies related subjects or Marketing related subjects.

Bank of England The placment runs for 13 months and offers an opportunity to gain experience in policy, research and operational work. You'll work as either a research assistant, a project assistant or IT support in key areas across the Bank.

Deutsche Bank. 1 year placment in their Birmingham Service Centre.
Experian.(1 year). Experian are a information services company offering data and tools to companies to assess credit risk and prevent fraud. They often recruit placements into the following positions: Economics Assistant, Finance Analyst, Data Analyst, IT Assistant, Marketing Assistant & HR Assistant.

Goldman Sachs (12 months). Opportunities for this one year placement in Global Investment Research, Technology, HR, Opeartions, Internal Audit, Finance and Services. Hargreaves Lansdowne (12 months). They take a number of students on a one year placment into Accounts, Investment Helpdesk and Stockbrokers.
HSBC. 1 year industrial placement in global banking and markets technology. This one-year programme, beginning in June, offers the opportunity to enhance skills and gain the experience needed to excel at HSBC as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, Developer, Architect or Tester. This means building expertise in technology architecture and operational processes
IBM(12 months). There’s a variety of placement opportunities for students with a keen eye for technology: in Business, Finance, HR, Marketing, Technology, Software Design and Software Development
ICAP (12 months). Off cycle internships are also available in Broking.
Northhighland. They are a global consulting firm with openings for analysts looking for a placement year. You will spend the majority of your time working on client-sites as part of small, intimate teams who help clients meet their operational and technology needs. You need a genuine intetest in business and technology. They are based in London.
PWC (6 or 11 months). Available in Assurance (audit), Consulting, Deals, Operations, Tax & Technology.
RSM ( formerly Baker Tilly). 12 month work placement opportunities exist in audit, tax, consulting, risk advisory, corporate finance, accounting and IT. You will receive structured training in all areas. They have 35 offices throughout the UK. You’ll need a minimum of Grade C in English Language and Maths GCSE, 240 UCAS and predicted at least a 2:2 degree to apply (or equivalent).
Societe Generale (6-12 months). Avaailable throughout all business divisions and locations.
UBS (6 -12 months). Opportunities within IT, Risk, Equities (Derivatives, Prime Services, Sales & Trading) and Global Asset Management.
