  • Cancer research UK (unpaid). 12 weeks running 3 times a year starting Jan, June & Sept. London based. Internships take place up to 4 days a week for 12 weeks, during which time you could be researching and planning a new project or coordinating a project in the delivery stages.
  • Cancer Research Laboratories: Opportunities to become involved in a research project across a number of institutes. 
  • Gavi Alliance (unpaid). Offer both summer and Winter internships in offices in Geneva. Gavi specialise in pulling the main players in immunisation together into one decision making body. 
  • Macmillan cancer support
  • Oxfam (unpaid): 3-12 months for 2-3 days per week. Placement is at Oxfam house or regional offices and opportunities exist in HR, digital media, marketing, IT and accounting.
  • Raleigh: Looking to gain new skills and work experience while at university? Have you ever thought about international volunteering? ICS gives you the chance to volunteer and work side-by-side with local volunteers in developing countries, to make a meaningful contribution to fighting poverty.
  • The RSA. The Royal Society for the encouagement of Arts Manufactures and Commerce. Looks at new social models. 
  • World Health Organisation (unpaid): 6 weeks - 3 months in length.
  • Unicef (unpaid) 2-6 months in London or Billericay. Also possibility for placements overseas
  • Unicef (unpaid)University regional Coordinators - 1 year for 2-3 hours per week whilst ar university. Fund Raising and marketing.
