  • British Airways. Graduate Programmes are offered as follows: Operational Research, Leaders for Business, Engineering (2 year programme), World Cargo (3 year programme), Analyst, Procurement and IT. Practice tailored psychometric tests similar to the ones used by BA HERE

  • Easyjet The European Graduate Programme offers 2+ years fully involved in the business, with potential graduate opportunities in Operations, Finance, Engineering, IT, Sales, Marketing and HR. You will undertake a series of assignments during the programme, many of which could be international. They appear to have current vacancies in IT and Finance.

  • Enterprise/Rent a Car.  They offer a Management Training programme, which offers broad training and experience of sales, marketing, management, business, customer service and fleet control. The aim is to be a branch manager within 2 years. They also have a Management Training Programme for a Financial Controller. You need an accounting or finance degree.

  • Four Seasons Hotel..  Their Manager In Training (MIT) programmes include a 3-month Branches programme designed for students who already have supervisory experience. 40 hours of management skills training will be provided in the first 90 days and you will spend the first month experiencing departments throughout the hotel learning functional management skills and understanding workflow systems. 

 

  • Fullers The graduate programme is a three year scheme based at their brewery in Chiswick. You will spend time in real roles which include marketing, sales, pubs, inns & hotels, beer brewing, packing and distribution and energy products. Once the programme has been successfully completed you will be considered for senior roles across the business best suited to your strengths and career aspirations. Alternativley Fullers offered a fast track graduate programme to pub mnangement. This is 2-3 years in length and will give you everything you need to manage one of their quality pubs. The programme consists of a number of placements in their pubs, where you will rapidly work your way up from a team member to supervisor and then to assistant manager. At the end of the prgramme you could be managing your very own business with a turnover in excess of £1 million per year.

  • Hays Travel. They are the UK's largest independently owned travel agent and offer a 2 year graduate programme. You will gain specialist experience in Finance, Commercial, Human Resources, Training, Operations and IT. The programme consists of four three-month rotations in key business areas in the first year and one placement in the second year, in an area of the business that suits your skills and the needs of the business. You will be given the opportunity to acquire technical expertise whilst contributing to the operational delivery of the department.
  • Hilton Hotel GroupThey offer The Elevator Graduate Programme. There are schemes in Europe and the Middle East & Africa. The Elevator General Manager programme aims to develop a group of talented, internationally mobile people and fast track them to General Management positions within 5-8 years of starting the Programme.You will start with an initial 18-month training that consists of two international 9-month placements. During your placements, you will combine operational, all-round experience, working in Operations, Business Development, Human Resources and Finance. You will also participate in off-the-job trainings and have business driven projects to complete. They also offer a Finesse Finance Progranne (24 months) and a graduate management development prpgramme (14-18 weeks). 

  • KFC. KFC is a part of Yum!, the world's largest restaurant group - so the scope for moving up is global. Their Graduate Programme is designed to be a platform for rapid career development. You'll start off by training in one of their restaurants and, once you know exactly how the Operations function, you'll move on from there. First an Area Role. Then a Regional role. Then, possibly, into a Global role.
  • Marriott. The Voyage Graduate Program in Europe is an 18-24 month fast track management development program. Voyage is very well established in the United Kingdom & Ireland hotels. Each year, up to 70 applicants are selected to participate in the programme. The Voyage Programme offers a development track in Rooms Operations, Food & Beverage Operations, Finance, Revenue Management, Sales & Marketing or Human Resources. The Live Leader Programme Offered at Ritz-Carlton properties around the world. This 12 – 18 month program offers participants the chance to rotate through various positions in one department or discipline including rooms operations, food and beverage, and finance.

  • McDonalds. They offer a trainee manager programme for graduates. This will lead leading to managing all aspects of a successful restaurant, including a team of around 80 employees. you start by undertaking an intensive training period to learn all the basics, including working in the kitchen, front counter, dining area and drive-thru, before managing small teams and finally taking responsibility for managing the entire shift – this training can take up to six months. After successfully completing the training period, Trainee Managers are promoted to 2nd Assistant Managers and become part of the core restaurant management team. Now, in addition to managing the restaurant during different day parts, Assistant Managers start to take responsibility for areas of the restaurant, such as Service, Training, Recruitment, Scheduling, Equipment Maintenance or Profitability.
  • Mitchells & Butlers They run a number of grauates schemes which include Retail, HR, Area Mangement, Finance and Marketing.  The Retail Scheme gives you access to a large portfolio of household name brands where you'll learn all the skills you need to manage a pub or restaurant. And after 2 years of on-the-job training, tailored off-site courses and e-learning, you'll have the knowledge and confidence to take charge of your own pub or restaurant. The Corporate Scheme is 2 years and you choose which area to specialise in, either; HR, Marketing, Finance and Area Management.

  • TUI Travel.. The UK Graduate Leadership programme lasts for 12-18 months and includes assignments in key business areas of TUI UK & Ireland such as Airline, Distribution and Customer, Commercial and Overseas.  The assignments offer a mix of day-to-day business experience and project work in a variety of different functions. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside the customer-facing teams, including spending 4-6 weeks with Overseas teams in a Resort. The programme also includes a comprehensive induction programme as well as ongoing development workshops, training and support. Head office is in Luton. TUI also offer an International Leadership Programme, a finance progarmme, an IT programme and one in Airline operations.
